Zeno Acne Device Review

Most people have had an important meeting, date or activity come up only to wake up the day before the event with a huge glaring pimple that no amount of make-up can hide. Most have wished that there was someway to instantly remove that imperfection so that they attend that special event feeling and looking their best. Now there is a product on the market that promises you just that. It is called the Zeno hot spot blemish clearing device.

This $40.00 battery operated pimple eradicator claims that it can reduce your pimple size in as little as an hour and it will be gone in 24 hours 90% of the time. You can use it 80 times before having to replace it. The theory behind this device is that it uses gentle heat to destroy the bacteria that is causing the pimple and therefore the pimple simply disappears.

The way Zeno Hot Spot Blemish Clearing Device works is you simply turn it on wait for the signal telling you the unit is ready, put it against your pimple hold it there for 2 ½ minutes. The device will emit a single beep every 30 seconds as it counts down and at the end of the 21/2 minutes it gives a series of beeps and shuts itself off and the treatment is over. It sounds simple enough and it would be if the product lived up to it’s claims and was reasonably priced.

Drawbacks Of The Zeno Hot Spot Blemish Clearing Device

First, what the website doesn’t tell you is that you may have to use the Zeno Hot spot up to 4 times in one day to get the desired result. Which means for the $40.00 it can clear only 20 pimples. While this may seem worth it for people who only get the occasional pimple once a month or so, for people with real acne problems you can run through your $40.00 worth of heat in a couple of days.

Second, while the Zeno hot spot may eliminate small pimples within 24 hours most users who had large pimples needed to treat them for at least two days while others treated their pimples over and over with no noticeable results. Judging by the reviews for this product the Zeno hot spot does not even come close to it’s 90% clearing of pimples in 24 hours.

Last, Not only does the Zeno hot spot not work on a large number of people but, it also does not give you 80 treatments in a large number of cases. Many reviewers complained that their hot spot worked for 4 or 5 times and then simply quit working. It seems as though this product is somewhat cheaply made and just doesn’t live up to it’s claims.

Final Thoughts

While the Zeno Hot Spot is a cute little device, it simply does not live up to its claims. While it may eliminate small pimples in 24 hours it takes far longer to eliminate those large embarrassing zits if it works for you at all. The device also often doesn’t give you the promised number of treatments. You would be better off spending your money on a product that is known to work at least in the majority of cases.
