Skin ID Review

skin id imageAmong the many skin acne products, the Skin ID is different from other brands on the market. This is because Skin ID is personalized according to the needs of your skin and other specific skin conditions. The factors that determine the skin care evaluation includes the place where you live, your lifestyle, the amount of time you spend under the sun and the stress you experience every day.

Product Details

When you visit Skin ID web site, you will be asked several questions that will help them determine the best product combination that will fit your skin. It will take you around 20 minutes to finish the survey and for the automated site to evaluate the specific, custom-made products that will best fit you. The Skin ID regimens are said to improve your skin because they address a person’s specific needs. In a way, it is similar to a dermatology clinic because it helps you analyze your skin condition, although without the need to consult a dermatologist.

The questions asked during the SkinID skin analysis are carefully chosen to determine if some skin chemicals are not appropriate for your type of skin and to determine which ones will best benefit your skin. You will also be asked about the different types of acne problems that you are experiencing, including whiteheads, blackheads, white bumps, red bumps and large and deep bumps, also called pustules. The results are easily obtained without the need for a prescription. If your skin is too sensitive, for instance, the analysis will not include any products that are not ideal for people with sensitive skin.

Depending on the answers you give, you will be assigned a set of three Skin ID products that fit your needs. Skin ID products include the 07 Cream Cleanser/Mask, 12 Gel Cleanser, 14 Cream Cleanser, 25 Foam Cleanser, 32 Anti-acne Treatment, 38 Anti-oil Pads, 40 Toner, 53 Moisturizer, 72 Hydrator and 44 Scrub.

Pros

One of the benefits of the Skin ID is that you are able to receive a custom-made set of skin products. This way, you are sure that they will not harm your skin in any way. Many people have testified to the benefits of using a personalized set of skin care treatment products. It is almost as good as going to a dermatologist and having your skin tested for treatment. Another benefit is that their products include acne-fighting ingredients that can fight the spreading of acne.

The Skin ID website mentions a clinical study that proved the safety and efficiency of the Skin ID products. Within a period of 60 days, users should see a difference in the appearance of their skin from the first day they started using the SkinID products. Consumers are given a 100% money back guarantee if the products do not provide any improvement. Within eight weeks, the Skin ID products are said to promote a healthier-looking skin. The acne should have started healing by this time.

Cons

The ingredients of Skin ID products include benzoyl peroxide, which is proven to be a harmful ingredient for the body. In fact, it cannot be used near the eyes, lips and nose because it can irritate these areas easily. The use of this ingredient can result in redness, dryness and swelling.

Users say that one of the disadvantages of the SkinID is that they do not really use the correct amount of ingredients they should. In fact, some with sensitive skin still experienced allergic reactions such as redness and swelling perhaps due to some products not being ideal for those with sensitive skin. Some people even find the so-called “custom-made combinations” to be the same set of combinations for different skin types. Some other common complaints for this product include itchy, dry and red skin. Some worse cases report of puffy or swollen faces.

Final Thoughts

Acne is a big business. People will always look for ways to get rid of their whiteheads, blackheads and other problems with their skin, which is why people are very meticulous with the efficiency of skin acne products. A healthier, great-looking skin makes a person feel happier, at ease, and more self-confident. Although skin care should be custom-made or personalized just like the Skin ID, it is still best to make sure that the benefits of the products are not just advertisement exaggerations. It is best to research about the product and ask about first-hand testimonials that will assure you of its benefits. Note that some skin acne products are actually effective but can cause other bad side effects in the body.
