Exactly 4 days ago I placed an order on the proactive website. I paid extra for overnight shipping and I paid with pay pal. I was told I will be receiving a confirmation email after I paid for the order,
but I never did. When I try to log onto the website it says that email address is not registered on the website. I was provided an order number when I placed the order, but I did not save it. I contacted proactive customer service to cancel my order, but I was told that they can not cancel my order even though it hasn’t been shipped. That is not true! I work for an online company and you can very well easly cancel an order anytime you want. you can even have the package returned back to you if it is shipped out. Before they even searched for my order they said a cancelation is not possible. And when I gave my information they said they can not even find my order. I was also told by a customer service representative to place a new order and pay again this time with credit card. So they wanted me to pay TWICE for something I was not receiving! And they weren’t even refunding the pay pal payment! The reason I wanted to cancel my order was because I read so many horrible reviews about the products and because of how long the process was taking. I paid extra for overnight shipping, it has been 4 days. They can not find my order but they took my payment. Be very cautious before buying from them!
Unfortunately Drs Rodan & Fields have concentrated in how to get to people’s credit cards rather than trying to resolve acne. They are masters in running a successful business, once they get your credit card number; your real headaches begin and in the meantime you start realizing their product doesn’t work. However, they keep billing your credit card for even products you did not order. They keep your money hoping you get busy with your life and forget to return for refunds. DO NOT use this company for any of their products. They DO NOT care about your acne, but rather making themselves rich.
I started using proactive 2 months ago and I completely LOVE IT. The day I began using it I saw a difference. My face was 100% clearer and smoother. I felt it healthier and I was much more confident since that day. Before proactive I was using Exposed and at the begging it worked really well but after I didn’t saw any results. It was better that when I started using it but worse than the first weeks. I know that some people really have travels with proactive but I think that giving it a shot is worth it. I have been using ProActive for 3 years now. At the start, I was very unsure about this product, because of all the “famous” people on the ad’s, it just seemed to good to be true. Anyway, only now I have just started to see SOME changes, didn’t just vanish away and I became a happy person, just some. So I believe it is a total waste of money, you are better off with getting blackmores skin support ( those vitamins you get in supermarkets in australia ) and find a really good acne wash. Its better go work from the inside out not the other way around. Hope this helps
When I first heard of Proactiv believe me it was like a dream come true or so the infomercials on the tv made it seem. However no matter what the infomercials say Proactiv was harsh on my skin, my skin was dry as it is and I followed their regimen, did everything as told and as a result my skin was more dry than before and all it seem to do was hide the problem with your acne, because once you stop or when you ran out and was still waiting on your shipment you would start breaking out it seemed the next day. Being as expensive as it was costing me, I was hoping for better results, but nope I did not get that. Please, read reviews from websites like this to get a better view on the product, do not listen to the infomercials, they are very deceiving, save yourself the waste of time and money, because after a year and a half of using proactiv it seemed like it made my acne worse than better, I wish I would of found a website like this before using proactiv.
When I had redness from zits that would not go away I went up and put on my proactiv just for that night because I felt as though it was my last resort and it ended up being the best decision I’ve made because literally the next morning the redness had gone down so much you could barely know it was there. Also in my paticular case with Proactiv it actually takes care of present day zits along with future zits. What I mean by that is when I use Proactiv the next day I could have another zit that was brought to the surface so I can pop it. Afterwards I do not have to worry again about anymore breakouts. I definitely would suggest you to purchase Proactiv because it really does take care of your skin.
Proactiv is a product that works but the one thing about it that I didn’t like was that if I missed a day of applying it my face would breakout so bad and then when I just stopped using because my face had been cleared up and I wanted to switch to a less expansive acne treatment all the acne that proactiv took away came back with a vengeance. So if you plan on getting proactiv and have sensitive skin then make sure you have the money to keep buying the product.
Be prepapared to keep paying long after you cancel your order, and forget a refund or credit on anything returned. absolutely the worst customer service you can imagine encountering. There are many better products if you are just willing to spend a little time searching. I would rather try the morning urine trick than spend another penny on these crooks.
I was about 16 when I started using Proactiv. I saw the ads on TV and thought I might as well try it and see if it works since nothing else works. I used Proactiv for a week and stopped. My skin hurt so bad after only a few days. My acne got worse and the areas around my eyes, nose, and lips were getting some sort of chapped. I hated going out in the sun because my skin felt sunburnt all the time. My face was worse than it was when I started out. I do have to admit their moisterizer (green tea, I believe) was really good. I would buy that again, only if they wouldn’t try to keep charging and sending stuff automatically. Trying to cancel anything with them is ridiculous. If you have sensitive skin do not use this product, it will only make it worse.
I tried proactive and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I use it one time and the next day my face was so itchy and red, I called the skin care adviser and she told me to use the green tea moisturizer, I did and my face swelled up and my eyes swelled shut. The itchiness exceeded, My skin got extremely dry and began to peel. I have tried everything over the counter and I thought that Proactive will clear my skin but it just made it worse. I didnt know that one of the chemicals in Proactive is ACID… SCARY!!!!!!! I have been told I might be having an allergic reaction to the “benzolye peroxidie” or the Acid in the product. Without taking any chances I threw everything away and slept with ice and cool compresses on my face. DONT USE PROACTIVE…..IT IS DANGEROUS!!!!!!

HORRIBLE product, my son was allergic. Cancelled the account, waited a month for the refund(sent the shipment back)…still nothing. Had to call my bank to dispute the charges. proactive might clear up acne but from what i’ve heard it leaves behind a number of bad side effect that might leave your skin worst than it was before i wouldn’t recommend it to others
THIS IS THE WORST PRODUCT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! iheard that it was really good , so i bought it. The first order I bought did clear up my skin a alittle. But when it finished i had ordered another bottle and ever since then it has completely stopped working! I literally use it everday to see if it works but…. NOTHING! If you guys really want your acne gone , MAXCLARITY is the way to go , it really does work. And it doesn’t leave your skin dry like this one. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
